Classics would like to give you a short glimpse of the Rock'n'Roll story, so let's go back in time to the cradle of Rock, which later transformed to a growing train. This train rolled out very slowly in the late 40's and early 50's, on a blend of hillbilly and rhythm-blues, sung by poor white musicians deep in the heart of America. In 1954 Elvis and Haley boarded the train and gave it a push. By the mid fifties the train started to go Aster and faster with mixed parts of rhythm-blues and country-boogie called rockabilly.
In Memphis the Rock'n' roll express was .filled with cool cats that fuelled it with "Sun energy". In Ohio, Texas and other places bunches of rocking cats was hoping for a seat on the train. When Elvis, with his charisma and hep wiggling style, entered the stage in a TV. show in 1956 the whole nation went Rock'n' roll crazy. The train, now with a crazy speed, became a rocking piece of dynamite for many years to come.
For every major artist there were thousands of others waiting for a chance to get a seat on board but for several reasons they never reached the Rock' n' roll train of fame and fortune. In the late 50's several top cats left the train for various reasons, and it slowed down to a more moderate speed. Soon the seats were filled with teeny guys and some of them came surfin' and twisting in along with the girl groups.
After the British Invasion the train moved really slow With this record Classics wants to pay a tribute to the many great unknown artists, and we wish you a rocking journey.
All aboard!! ! !
