Welcome to my home. Graceland is a veryspecial place. The incredible memories here are countless. It is now suspendedin space like a time capsule for those who would like to get a sense of what it was likefor my father and our friends and family for so many years. It sits untouched now, still as it was for all those years.
Life and people have changed, butGraceland remains preserved and, as I said, suspended in time for all to now get asense of, and appreciate, the historical nature of what it represents for our culture inmusic and rock and roll.
It was very dear to my father, mymother and myself.
It's too bad "the walls can'ttalk" as they say because I can assure, much went on here. The walls would have a lot to sayand it would be much more interesting than any taped audio. ‘
It is my pleasure to share this withyou, as I know what it represents to our culture and history. But, to me, it was just myhome that I lived in with my family and friends and that was a lot of fun to grow upin. None of that I feel can be recaptured again as it existed during all those years, soit is now better left alone, preserved and open lot others to now experience. It is alsostill there for me to visit when I need to as well.
I thank you for your support andinterest and I welcome you. I hope you enjoy it.
